Joy! My K04/K16's are here along with a question for you guru's out there...<lots of pics>
The turbos were basically the last major item I needed to collect before the "big job" begins. A big thanks to Milpitas2.7T for getting these out to me along with the inlet piping!
K16 compressor wheel:

Question to you turbo gurus out there. Might it be possible for the green stuff on the bolt to come off and throw the compressor wheel off balance? I can see the little grooves cut into the bolt itself for balancing, and if that little bit can affect balance, then I'd imagine the green stuff could as well! I can't see that green stuff lasting for very long in the conditions it will live in. If anyone "in the know" could comment on this I'd really appreciate it! I'm still a little worried about the whole hybrid reliability issue. Oh well, gotta pay to play right?
You can see the turbine clearancing in this pic:

Port and polished, mmmm...

The whole passenger side turbo, with hot side ceramic coated:

Hopefully all of this stuff will help too:

<img src="http://images10.fotki.com/v196/photos/6/663228/2365137/IMG_5540-vi.jpg">
I'm still amazed at how small the turbine and compressor wheels actually are. Also, the exhaust manifold diameter is almost laughable!

Anyway, if you made it this far I hope you enjoyed the pics!

Doh! Not sure it will be ready by then... Its going to take 3 or 4 days...
I have a ton of little issues to take care of. Misc oil leaks, a jacked up vacuum check valve and associated hoses, fubar'd CPP rear toe links, etc... Also I'll be doing the Stasis Center diff, Bosch Platins, and probably adding a Walbro fuel pump to the mix.
Yeah, it might even take Piggie a while
