Default Just did AWE stage 3 fueling install, a few questions...

I get some surging between 2000-3000 RPM at constant throttle on flat surfaces. Is this normal?

The idle is kind of rough - at least rougher than I think it should be. Is this normal?

I'm at 7000' ft so maybe that explains it. Could a clogged injector cause it or is it maybe just the ECU adapting?

Also, does the AWE kit require a larger FPR. The software says 4 BAR on it and I replaced my 5 BAR Piggie FPR with the stock unit when I did the install, is this right?

Thanks in advance.

Default Couple of things...

Like lemieux said...t-body adaptation (turn car on into ACC position and let sit for 30seconds or until you hear whining stop from t-body)
-Using stock airbox? Have flow straightener in? There will be some surging at constant rpms. Sometimes more than other times. I would suggest EVO intake and newer software code when it comes out. Though your at 7K ft??? Damn...so that could be a variable. My idle is a little rough. Did you put new plugs in...Platins FDP50R or something like that...do a search for Platins and you'll find them.

Default that could be your problem:

just put the key in ignition on ON position (engine off) and let it sit for 30-40 secs (you'll hear some kinda' beep from the engine bay) , start the car without touching the gas pedal and let it idle for 5 minutes. done.

LOL! Seriously though, no need to idle AFAIK. Leave key in on position for 30-60 seconds.
