unfortunetly i have stock cat back exhaust for next couple of months. would like to modify the stock exhaust to lower egt. so should i remove the resonator or muffler? how about sound? to loud? to much drone?

after spending over 10k wife would be pissed if i bought anything else! so modifing stock exhaust is the only option tell next year.

but if you cant wait and are eager to do something... remove the first can at a muffler shop... ~100 if that.

for 500. Put your stock exhaust on craigslist or something. I think a4 owners would give you a bill.
