I just installed it today, it made a noticable difference but it breaks up on the top end of the rev.... looking for an experienced answer...
My mods: MTM 2nd gen box, catback, K&N.

What causes it to die... lack of fuel? (sorry I'm just learning about this car... was a rotary guy b4...)

It's a more conservative chip; just programmed to hold back boost up top, IIRC.

the K03s just can't support the boost (airflow) levels. This is especially true of the MTM chip which is a bit more conservative w/boost levels up top than others like GIAC, although on my 2000 when I upped the timing advance of my MTM, it was pretty much as fast as the GIAC.

lack of turbo - these guys are small and give great torque down low, not HP up high
