Just installed Tanoga SS! Freakin' amazing!
...only took me three hours, some time to get reverse just right, and three seperate trips to the hardware store, but the kit is in and damn, it makes all the difference in the world! And why can't Audi install such a fine piece of engineering for stock???

Audi just needs to get a new 6 speed tranny...
God I wish they would hit up Porsche for their 6 speed.
A DTS, Snub Mount, and SS have definatly improved my shift feel to something close to acceptable, but it is still a far cry from BMW or Porsche.
BTW, Audi decided a longer throw was worth the reduced effort. Be glad short shifters are cheap and easy to install.

..still having trouble with 2nd gear though...
Still grinding when I go from high RPM in first gear to 2nd...any suggestions? Maybe my timing is off? If I take a moment to think about shifting, it won't happen, but when I try to slam it quick, GRRrrrhhh....
Take out the SS, put the stocker back in, and head to the dealer.
