Default k04 casting hole

anyone heard or had a casting hole in their k04s? i recall their being an issue in the past but couldnt find anything on search. specifically i have a pinhole in the passenger pipe thats audible and visible during a pressure test.

any recommendations for a high temperture sealant that can be used until the pinhole can get professionally welded?

Default 100 percent positive

the pinhole is visible and you can put your finger over it and feel the airflow which ceases as soon as you cover it with your finger.

with the passenger wheel removed we have a direct view of the hole however so it seems access with a welder shouldnt be an issue. so no need to pull everything out again which is good.

think the jb will hold or better to have it welded properly for the sure longterm fix?

Default i would not mess around witha boost leak ! esp on a car that is not tuned..

just put the damn jbweld there, it will be fine i bet ya
make sure you spray it with break clean.. that steel putty still holds in my MBC bleed hole (for 2.5 years now)
