Default I use it and like it. It does reduce the surface tension of the coolant, helps incrementally. Also

ALWAYS use distilled water when mixing with coolant or whatever. Any amount of hardness (dissolved minerals like calcium) in the water will precipitate out and attach to the metal in your cooling system, causing reduced heat transfer. Plain water is best coolant due to its heat transfer and heat capacity, but it will kill your water pump and seals. Look at a chart that shows freeze and boiling points at various mixtures of glycol and water and choose which one will suit your needs. Remember that straight water will boil over lower than glycol mix and this means localized boiling at the turbos which is really bad - this can cause cavitation in your water pump which will destroy it in short order! Systems that use only water need a higher pressure cap and hoses designed to handle the higher pressure to prevent the boiling!

Good luck. I have WW in both my S4 and Passat w/ 2.8 litre Audi engine! $6 per bottle at Pep Boys.

Default I use it in my PC watercooling system, it helps...

I'm running an AMD Athlon (T-Bird) 1.3 at 1.6. W/C setup is pretty standard, copper water block, only 1/4 inch tubing and 120mm Panaflo on the radiator. Everything else being equal (which is tough to do when benchmarking PCs) Water Wetter lowers CPU temps by about 1.5 C on average. Take care

I used it in my prior cars, but I heard the Audi pink coolant doesn't take as kindly to additives

Default In the summer time I put straight water in my drag car,

I should probably use some kind of anti-corrosion additive. This water-wetter stuff looks pretty good... I'll try it out this year. I haven't really worried about corrosion in the past, and I was changing water coolant several times a year. I thought most of the problem was with old glycol antifreeze -- since I just have it in during the winter months, I don't think it has a chance to go bad...
