kill swich q: does it matter what kind switch i use?

Default kill swich q: does it matter what kind switch i use?

i got a really small one from autozone.. do i have run any thing else than wires? do i have to use a relay with it?
or can just connect to interupt something.

Default Best. Use a switchable circuit breaker.

There are some small "switches" that also have circuit breaker protection. They are used quite a bit in Grand-Am and ALMS. They have a pull/push activation, and work well for making a hidden kill switch.

ETA is one of many mfgrs. I'd use a 15A, but you could go as low as 5A. I'll try and get a modle number and pic. I won't get into where to install it.
