Late 2001 A4 question pertaining to 2002 S4; and bonus question :)
When I ordered my 2002 S4 in May, I noticed the late model 2001 A4 showroom model with minute "S" badging specifically on the steering wheel. I also noticed the wheels were RS4 style. I don't remember the size but they were probably 17" as much as I could remember those low profile tires.
Today, while I was in PA doing some kayaking, my wife and I stopped at a local farm to pick up some fresh produce. A late model A4 pulled in with RS4 wheels and low profile tires.
Is there a good possibility that the RS4 type wheels will be included on the 2002 S4 as stock or only as an upgrade? I'm praying that the AVUS wheels are no longer being produced or available.
Bonus Question:
I just installed FreeBSD v4.3. When I logon using my root account or my user account I do not see directories. I was looking for the /etc/ directory but it doesn't appear using 'ls' or 'ls -a' command. I can 'ls' the /etc/ directory but like I said, I do not see the directories available to me.
I'm a newbie. Can anyone help?
Thanks,
GigaEnvy

Nobody really knows what specific changes will be on the 2002 S4, although there should be very few
if any. As for the S4 logo on the stearing wheel, it's not an S4 logo, its just and Audi Sport logo, which is available anytime you get the sports suspension option on the A4. It also comes with the "Sport Steering Wheel". My 1998 A4 had that wheel.

I'm a dope! The problem was
a) I should've started using Unix years ago!
b) I was in my home directory for /root. I was wondering why 'cd..' wasn't working. I simply put a space between the cd and .. and I ended at the real root directory.
Now all I have to do is figure out how to:
launch a WWW browser or desktop of somekind, un-gzip tar files, and install them.
Holy Directory structure batman!!!! This will take months or even years to fully become guru.
Thanks for the reply!

Re: I'm a dope! The problem was
you can also do this:
cd /
that will take you to root level
If netscape is included in the BSD distribution, you might be able to just pull up a shell and type "netscape". If the executable is in a directory that is available via your default paths, it should fire up. If netscape is included but is doesn't launch, you need to cd to the directory where the executable resides, then type:
./ netscape (or whatever the actual name of the executable is).
As far as the X-server, you can try "startx" and see if that launches. I have never used BSD...only Irix, RedHat, and oh yeah...OS X (what I'm on now). I guess that is BSD at the core...
