Leading edges on front brake pads are chipped.... replace em?
I've probably got 25-33% of the pad left still... although I have been noticing a bit more of that "soft scrubbing" noise lately than I did before (if I'm stopping next to a wall or something).

naaah... I hear chipping makes it go faster!
seriously, for street driving they should be fine.
If you drive it on a track, the chips may get bigger and literally "chunk" off. I had one brake pad look fine on the outer edges, but the entire inside was hollowed out from a missing chunk, so if you're worried, you really have to take them off and check the inside part if you haven't done so already. SCARY!

Well, if your car is still under warranty...
My dealer pointed that out and replaced the front rotors and pads. I told them it wasn't necessary, but if they wanted to do it, I wasn't going to say no! :-P
