Let me get this straight: loud turbo whine BEFORE boost==ok, after == :-(
In general, is that the deal? Have a *loud* whine for last 12K miles (at 92K now), still boosting great, but paranoid things are on the way out.
Of course noise came on right after 3" TBB tear, deviation DTC and all that...

Its siren like...but kinda like a louder version of how the turbos sound on a cold morning.
Not a metallic sound at all. In fact, on cold mornings (ie 40 degrees of less), I can hear them both (always have been able to), but before they were, let's say, in haramony. Now, passenger side is singing louder.

dont worry about it, people go tens of thousands of miles with their turbos 'singing' like that
start putting aside extra money as you can, but dont freak out until you see the smokescreen
