Default let's look at another boost graph..

i've spent the last hour looking at group 115 graphs and searching "boost spike"s. i'm still not sure what's goin on here. is there something wrong with the BPV's..?

car specs:
stock M-Box ECU (01.5 S4)
borla exhaust - gen1
Bailey DVs
93 octane

according to weather site:
temp: 26F
humidity: 77%
barometric pressure: 29.74 inHG

graph:
RPM is divided by 100
i converted boost to PSI using (<vag_data> - atmospheric pressure)*0.0145037738
i attained atm pressure by 29.74*0.034*1000

run:
full throttle, 2nd - 3rd - 4th

anywho.. the #s are relative. my main concern is the spike while shifting. does that mean DVs are not releasing boost properly?

Default Yes, bad DV's, and your pix is a red x

until you copy and paste the title from properties into the address bar.

Default dont they have a warrenty?

i know nothing about them, i went with 710n's because of the fact that a lot of the high hp cars were using them. good enough for them means good enough for me.

Default

They're not opening when you get off the throtle. Thus no boost relief = compressor stall.

Default they do , and they have to be checked with a vacuum tester

or blow air in on the side where boost pressure would be present ..and see it it holds couple psi.
baileys are really great though. they are worth it imo.

It must really be both BPVs that don't open to get that boost spike. Maybe the N249 valve is shot? Check the connector.

Quick Reply: let's look at another boost graph..
