Default life after death *edit*

making an attempt to post multiple pics...bare with me.

so i purchased two blown to hell ko4's with the idea of a rebuild. i then purchased two brand new cartridges from KKK and had them send it to majestic where i was getting the turbos rebuilt. after much debate i decided to go with just plain jane ko4's with a couple small modifications.

i had them clip the turbine wheel to reduce back pressure and to increase the high speed efficiency and had them lighten them to reduce spool up time.

i had them add an intake "bullet" which also reduced some weight compared to the nut which helps lighten the rotational mass, and had them polish the inside of the compressor housing to help reduce intake turbulence.

would like to say thanks to all who helped me in making this decision, it turned out quite well imo.

would like to say a big thank you to the guys at majestic turbos. for anyone doing a rebuild or a hybrid, i highly recommend these guys, they are very knowledgeable in what they do and have the quickest turn around time that i have seen yet, less than a week.

i will let the pics speak for themselves.
also, ask for cliff and tell him scott thomas sent you and he will give you the direct special attention that we all deserve.

cheers.

Default or what reeferbob would say "******"...those are what they called bullets and they reduce the

turbulence going into the turbo so it has a smoother overall flow and is actually lighter than the original nut, therefore reducing the weight of the rotational mass which equals a quicker spool.

That is a pretty serious clipping job? Much more than the turbine wheels that were on my hybrids.
