Default Looking for suggestions on suspension...

I would really only like to decrease the body roll, without reducing the ride quality or lowering the car by very much. Is there a magic combo that would give me this?

Thanks,
Brad

Default funny you post this..........

i just picked up my car from a tuner in town and they installed the nuespeed sport springs~ i love it! I am suprised at how the ride has not changed much at all and the perforance as far as body roll and handling are superb! I would recomend the same thing for sure. I stuck with the stock shocks and they seem to do just fine too! Good luck!

Default have you experienced any "bouncing"?

I have heard that this is a small issue with the MTM spring only option.

Do you live in the CA Bay Area by any chance?

Thanks - B

Default Do coilover...

The height can be what ever you need and the springs are for sure matched with the shocks.

Default this won't bring a harsher ride? firmer is ok, just not harsh...

To be honest, I am looking to achieve something close to what is found on the 98 M3. But I felt it was a bit to jarring for everyday driving in a luxury appointed 4-door sedan.

FYI I owned a 91 Lotus Esprit with absolutly 0 body roll. It was definetly jarring. But very fun, just not every day.

Default totally, coilover....

too much body roll with stock suspension.
i was on highway north DVP with 360(yellow) porsche 996(blue) 30 min ago, i WISH I HAD MY 993 c4s with me,
the stock s4 has too much body roll and too soft, i was scared to go too fast on corner(180km+) but,,,,yes, i held on with them.(impressed by the stock s4 engine). even my gf was complaining about the ride not firm enough.

Default not harsh in fact it maybe better then just a spring set up since it won't bounce.

The h&r should be nice.

Default Thanks. I think I will look into an H&R setup. Adjustable height I assume...

I think these and a set of Michlen Pilot Sports and I will be pretty happy for a while.

Default if you dont want to lower the car...

go with the nuespeed rear swap 19mm.

i gave vtec_killer a ride tonight at the kk meet, and ask him the comparison between stock suspension and rear sway upgrade only. body roll is soo much decreased.

its a pretty good upgrade for $150 give or take. it is the only thing keeping me from getting coilovers still. i wanted something to keep me satisfied until then. and it does.

well, enough of my rambling. i dont know if i even made any sense.
