I got my S4 a couple weeks ago, just in time to head out on my vacation to Iowa-- visiting family, friends, reunions, what-not.

The trip to Iowa is a dull one. I-76 to I-80 through Nebraska. Dull, Dull, Dull. The good news is that there were many stretches of road where I could see for miles without any cars around me. I only got it up to 130 before getting nervous, but it wasn't because of anything the car did.

So, luck was not with me. I was driving safely-- I would slow down anytime I saw any cars in the distance. So the ticket came when I had slowed down to 85 while catching up to a small pack. In the middle of the pack was-- you guessed it-- a policeman. How unfortunate. 84 in a 75 zone. I wouldn't even know where to begin fighting this, so I'm probably SOL.

I get to Iowa without any further difficulties, and after spending nearly a week there, I've decided that nobody there even knows what an Audi is.

Afer about a week, I headed back. No tickets on the way back. Top speed: 130. And it was me, not the car, that kept me from going any faster. (Memories of my last car, a saturn, that would shudder at 90)

I was going to say more, but tons of work got dumped on me while I was gone on vacation. whee!
