Making custom DP's. Should I go with metal or Stainless for ~$200 more?

How long are you going to keep the car? Stainless may not be needed, I didn't go with Stainless...
for my straight pipes.
Wasn't worth the money. I think the standard "metal" was good for 3 - 5 years. I'll be LONG out of this car in 5 years.

I'll probably keep it for about 4 years or so...
I figure in the time that it will take for them to leak, I will probably want something else. The person making them says metal is fine. They are cheaper and you get the same performance. Is this true?
