Matthewk - You commented on the MTM exhaust a few days ago. What would you recommend?

I beleive that the less turbulence that you can add to an exhaust system the better.
Merge collectors cause turbulence and that is bad. I am sure all of the exhausts are good. well with the exception of one. The only problem that i have with the MTM besides the 2 into one design is that it used crimped (not welded) mufflers. They look like off the shelf. For $1700 the is just way too much for a simple design that is going to cause the same turbulence as a stock system. Now keep in mind that i am biased in saying this but the UUC system employs the best design. the VM2 with manderal bends is in my mind the best exhaust system on the market.

Matthew work with the UUC folks on the design of the Velocimax.
Not to put words into his mouth, but I think it's pretty safe to assume that the UUC exhaust would be his choice.
