Met a guy today who owns an MTM supercharged V8 S4 Avant.
Anyone know how many blown V8 S4s are out there?
Was a very interesting guy... didn't get to chat too much.. but he's definitely interesting.

Nice Avant, slower then a stage 3 though. I raced that avant on a freeway and pulled on it hard
it was driven by one of the guys working at the shop (Speedware) that put it together for the customer. This was all a few years back on the way to Waterwagens....06 I think. There was alot of friendly **** talking before the run.
I was follwing the B6 with about 6 other shop cars behind us both. First run was clean, I pulled a few car lengths pretty easy, then had to slow down to merge onto another freeway. The driver got a little upset and on the second run, decided to brake-check me as I was on his *** about to switch lanes and pass him. Long story short, My brakes locked up (I had some ABS issues but.....stoptechs FTL), car spun and I just managed to save it from hitting the wall at well over 100. Cost me 4 new PS2's (all flat-spotted) and a 4-wheel brembo kit (ditched the stoptechs).
At the track the same driver ran a 14.xx 1/4 mile pass claiming he could not turn the esp off.
It was all good fun. Anyway......I never met the actual owner or have any info on blow V8's, just sharing my run-in with the avant.
