Microfiber towels. Looking for opinions on them for auto detailing...
I used them with my latest layer of Zaino. I bought the towels from autodetail.com . They really made the process of removin Zaino easy. I usually use flannel, but that tends to smear a little, and takes a long time. With the Microfiber is was like one or two passes and the wax/haze is gone. I was impressed but I question if in the long run they will cause spiderwebs or not. Something so good must have a down side. At this time, I don't see a downside.
Oh and Zaino is the best! If you did not see this before, go to www.thewaxtest.com

I LOVE the griot's microfiber polishing cloths!
I use terry towels to clear up the bulk of residue (in my case Zaino or 3M Imperial Machine Glaze) first. Then I follow with the microfiber, and as you stated, very nice results.
The only downside I've found is maintaining them. If you put them in the wash and dry cycle with cotton stuff, they cake up with cotton lint. If you put them in the dryer, you'll get some wicked static electricity with these as well. If you can, I would consider hand washing these
