Default Mid suspension install help request: How to align links to upright?

I'm having a great deal of difficulty aligning the links on the upper control arms to the holes they fit in (where the pinch bolt locks them in place) on the upright. I'm putting OEM dampers/springs back in. Even if I jack up the rotor and/or turn the steering wheel I cannot get them even close. Any suggestions?

Default I didn't have too much trouble with mine. Are you sure that the whole assembly

is seated properly? Did you bolt everything else in besides those? You should be able to pull down on them and hold them while you thread the bolt.

Default could you hold them in there w/out jacking up the rotor?

I may have screwed something up, dunno. I'm doing the other side and I'll see if its any different.

Yes. They shouldn't be under too much tension and should pivot up/down easy enough.

Default How can I get enough leverage to bang those links in?

Coming out was easy b/c there's lots of room to work from the bottom. Not so from the top...

Default You shouldn't have to "bang" on them. Just seat them and then slide the bolt in.

The bolt holds them in place.

You can pry the opening apart about 1mm or so to make it easier.
