That sounds about right, and a 2.9L is what I've heard.

I hope it's a lot "in excess" of 250HP!

Better be in excess of 340 hp if they want to compete!

Default A 2.9L twin turbo would probaly put out about 300HP, but depends on many factors.

Most importantly what turbos they decide to use.

I hope they LEARN and don't put the turbos in a hard-to-get-to place this time!

Default If they use K04's (they will have to) it will be up around 380hp. (m)

Audi obviously want to smoke the M3, so it's either 350+ Hp, or the S4 needs to go on a diet. And with the new Sti WRX and Evo 7, both who have 300 or so Hp and weight about a grand less, the S4 REALLY needs to put down some power. Hehe, good for us. I really wouldn't be surprised if Audi offered both a W-8 AND the TT V-6 in the next S4.

"hard-to-get-to place" = better turbo cooldown

Yeah, cause I'm sure Audi's first concern is aftermarket turbo install ease...
