Default Milltek Single vs SuperDual... *edit*

Thanks to Don P and his stock vs Milltek Single exhaust "notes" in the tech section.

now, what I'm wondering.... is there any appreciable difference in the sound of the SuperDual compared to the Single ? Is it worth the extra C note if you're planning to stay at Stage II ?

Allright, added another question. *supposedly* the 3" dual adds another 20hp over the single according to Achtuning's product literature (*as tested by audiworld.com... apparently). I've looked around audiworld.com and can't find anything that references that. This would mean the SuperDual adds 41 hp as the Single apparently adds 21hp... that sounds like quite an *ambitious* number to me ???

TIA,

Earnie

Superdual all the way. Anything that doesn't have 2 mufflers sounds raspy to me.

Default I went from 3" to SD, it's appreciably louder, but anyone who's heard the SD...

will attest that it sounds wonderful. Not intrusive, droney or overly conspicuous, just sounds great. I love mine.

Default If you're married go single...

...or your wife will complain until you put the single or stock back on! Voice of experience! Duals drone in the cabin, so if you yack on a cell a lot it's bothersome. It's worse in tiptronics than 6 speeds. Nice sound & power @ WOT though with the duals.
