I believe 2, trying to recall when I installed mine. I DO know I have 2 "spare" ......
pieces from the install, like there was an additional adapter if I had a certain DP instead of the stockers. I do recall however there 2 per bank extensions to the midpipes..

Thanks for the info. Looks like I'll be heading to an exhaust shop tomorrow to pick up the second
piece that I need. I saved about $400 on this lightly used exhaust over a new one so I guess it's worth a slight headache. I was REALLY looking forward to getting this thing installed now though. Thank God the stock exhaust only took about 2 minutes to put on / take off.

one thing to do, although it might be pretty late there, is lay your stocker next to..
the Suerdual, that is what I did. Again I have 2 extensions setting on my shelf that werent needed when mating to my stock DP's (or perhaps they were for a tip car???) if they are pretty close (within an inch or so) I'd say you dont need them. My opinion however..
