Default Misfiring @ Idle will be the end of me... Is it possible to turn misfire recongnition off @ idle?

I dont get misfires ANY other time but idle, and sure enough I get the lovely orange reminder. My injectors are turned a good ol 90* towards the fenders. drivers to the driver pass to the pass. I don't have any boost leaks. Its just that I have a homosexual car. Since VAST does my tuning, is it possible for them to turn off misfire recog? i mean i would love to know why my car coughs at idle, but i mean i've done a bunch of things, from ICMs to ALL coils, to plugs. can the plugs be re-gapped tighter maybe? sorry so many questions!

Default Warm idle, cold start, or both? What does 002 say your MAF and load are at during warm idle?

It's absolutely possible to manipulate misfire recognition so you'll never see them.

It's also possible to play with some things in the code to help your car idle better.

Logging 002/015/016 together at idle would be helpful. I'm curious if it's only when cold, only when warm, or all the time.

Default Okay great. I'll log that at idle. for how long? also, it seemms to be all the time

but more persistent on a cold start for sure. idle is much smoother and better once the car has been run for some time

Default On a cold start, just log until idle has settled to 760-800 RPM. While warm, just enough to capture

what's going on and the extent of the misfires. I'm not asking for minutes and minutes, but 30-60 seconds maybe.

Default The fact that a couple cyls show significantly more misfires than others means hardware possibly...

Try swapping plugs and coilpacks between cylinders to try and isolate a potential issue.

Also, try logging things cold.

I'm sure some tweaks to the file could help, but can't say you'll ever be misfire free. You definitely should be able to rid yourself of CEL and codes, though.
