MOTOR BUILD EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE!!!!!!! oil check valve O-ring mystery!!!
greetings yall!
i have a lil issue iv come across while building my motor!
basically, i removed my oil check valves that go below the valley pan. i put them in brake cleaner and all the o-rings expanded. seems like a simple problem... but not so much... lol
audi does not list o-rings for the check valves, so i had to replace the whole valve to be safe.
they came w 2 o-rings- the inner small one, and the lower one (which i expected). now, after some investigation, i believe there is another o-ring that sits along the top thread (see bottom pic, left of the threads).
i cant find a part number or even confirm that an o-ring belongs there. im sure this isnt the biggest deal, but its causing me some grief.
does anyone have any ideas/clues? pls help!
Cheers!
