I did it in my A8, but from my understanding, the S4 preinstalled factory phone wiring harness is exactly the same. Should work the same if you have the Bose radio.

But for anybody lookiing to do this, there is more than enough info for you.

Time for me to engineer the project - about 12 hours.

Time to find the damn RJ-45 connector - 2.5 hours the first time (didn't find it), 5 minutes the second time.

Time to make connectors and do install to date - 4 hours or so.

Time to write this procedure - Oh, about 6 or 7 hours!

Time it should take you to do yours after reading this, about four hours start to finish!
