On the way home from work tonite I got stuck behind a new Mustang Cobra. The driver turned out to be one of the many passive-agressive drivers in this area and when I flashed him to pass, he decided, that, yes, he did own the whole road. For about 5 miles he stayed right next to another vehicle so no one (the line was around 5 cars now) could pass.

When the road turned to three lanes, I moved to pass: he dumped the throttle (you could hear those 8 cylinders moan) and it took me a second to register what he was doing-- he wasn't going to let me get ahead of him at all! Still in 6th, I opened the S4 up, caught and passed at (ahem) a pretty high speed. I finally got away from the jerk.

Now the point of all this: I tried (like the good citizen that I am) to ignore the game for a while, but finally decided that I was better off as far from him as possible. There was no easy way to turn off so when I could, I just lost him. What is the best strategy in this situation?

If some stupid son of a bitch would block the passing lane in front of me for 5 miles he'd be lucky if I didnt put him in a ditch. The people in this country cant drive worth a ****. Excuse my French.(And my spelling)But this subjuct gets me going. Where else in the world can you get a drivers license for a couple of dollars just by driving around a stupid course and answering some questions about some traffic signs. In Germany it cost Thousands to get a license and you have to go through alot of training classes before you pass the test. Then its not cheap to renue every year. Result, people now how to drive and they are ALOT more courtious to others. Obviouslly the REDNECK in the Cobra couldnt read (slower traffic keep right!)
