My 2 week detailing plan.....
Every year before the NE show I give my car the Once-a-year ultimate detailing treatment. It usually takes about 2 weeks, in and around work, kids, etc. Here's what I'm planning this year:
1. Wash with dishwashing liquid -to strip all old wax
2. clay bar
3. Mother's Cleaner wax- get off tiny annoying black tar specs
4. Mother's Scratch remover- basically a polish treatment to get rid of fine swirls and scratches
5. Liquid Glass - 2 coats. A little known product. I used it back in the 1980's when I owned a Mustang 5.0 as a teenager. Incredibly reflective show car finish.
6. Eagle One Wadding Polish to exhaust and Muffler
7. brake caliper touch up with G2 caliper paint.
8. Armor All to all wheel well areas
9. Remove and thoroughly wash each wheel
10. Liquid Glass -3 coats to each wheel
11. Meguair's high gloss endurance gel to the tires
12. Windex on the glass
13. Armor All to each grill and front bumper grill slot with q-tip. Seems like a long time, but less than an hour in reality
14. Basic interior vacuum
15. Light coat Armor All to interior surfaces -I don't like that oily-looking over-lubricated interior look.
16. Meguair's leather cleaner/conditioner to seats.
This routine is only for show prep. 3-4 times a year I'll do a basic 3-step -Wash with Mother's, 3M imperial hand glaze polish and Mother's pure hard carnuaba.
I'll also just try to wash once a month.

Some suggestions...
Clay bar should take care of all of those tar specs so the Mother's cleaner wax is probably unnecessary.
I'd stay away from Armor All and use 303 Aerospace Protectant or One Grand ERV instead. I prefer to use 303 over Meguair's gel on the tires.
Other than that, sounds good. Have fun!

Yes Way.
For places like the wheel wells, it a cheap easy cosmetic fix. I don't want to use some expensive compound here. What a total waste of money that would be. As far as the interior goes, as I said, I don't like high gloss. I just spray a little on a soft cloth and rub. Been using it for 21 years. It works just fine if used correctly.

Actually, the cleaner wax gets some of tar that the clay bar doesn't. Been there. Done that.......
I know ArmorAllgets a lot of **** but it works well if used sparingly and in the right location.
I'll give the 303 a try, however.
