Yes, my beautiful black S4 got totaled yesterday. I was driving home on the freeway, and the car directly in front of me suddenly lost control. I slammed on the brakes and swerved but couldn't get around him. The back driver's side door of my car hit some part of his car at about 50mph, sending me spinning across four lanes of rush hour traffic. Miraculously, no one slammed into me and I came to rest on the far shoulder.

I managed to climb out of the car, and once I realized that I was neither dead not paralyzed, I looked over at my car. It was a sad sight.

Amazingly, though, I walked away with only a very sore neck, so I thank the Audi folks for making a strong car.

Now I'm wondering what kind of car to buy next. Another S4? Maybe an S8? An allroad? Or, sacrilege...a Beemer, Benz, or Porsche?

I just the H&R street coilovers, so I kinda thinking after I get those installed, maybe I'll ask the dealer to take a look while it's getting aligned.

I'm guessing you need something asap... I don't know of anything out there that's better, for the money, than an S4. I think I would consider a new AMG Mercedes product (either the new C32 or SLK32) rather than the S8. I'm selling a 996 C4 in case you're interested in that. It's a fabulous car. It's listed below in case you or anyone else is interested.
