My birthday present is in!!!
Going to re-word this so I dont sound like a spoiled little kid: Just got an email saying the Vibrant Exhaust I ordered is finally in. Just so happens today is my b-day....nice little treat right? Only problem is, I'm up at school in Poughkeepsie and dont want to get it installed just anywhere. Does anybody know a reputable shop in the area that can do the install?

Honestly, you know how this will turn out for a first timer on jack stands.....
I know we all say 30 minutes, no big deal, just do it yourself.
The thing is, he's in the northeast and the car has seen snow - - I'd bet his stock exhaust clamps are going to be nasty and I'd bet it will take him more than 30 minutes.
ANY cheapo exhaust shop should be able to do it in less than 1 hour - I'd pay if I were him.

I know what you're saying, but I was a first timer w/ jack stands and my car is/was
a NE car.
Stock off, G2 on in 27 min'. Yes, I timed it to see how much of a moron I am. PB Blaster is his friend ;-)

Well, I was saying that based on his comment that he was at school - I assumed he didn't have....
all the tools there.
He starts the job and next thing you know, he's bought $50 worth of tools and spent 3 hours trying to get clamps off, etc....
Don't get me wrong, I'm a total do it yourself-er but I think telling a guy at school in the Northeast with no knowledge of his experience to do it himself is bad info when a "ma and pa" exhaust shop could do it for the same $50 or so.
