My GF does "Mechanical Breakdown Insurance" through her bank...
It's on a scale from A - Z. A being the cheapest, and Z... well, there are no cars that bad.
Anyrate, she was in this class, and the teacher said that H was the worst... Well, she looked up the S4, and it was an I. The ONLY other car in their database, not including exotics, was the Phateon. It was an I.
So yea... it's the most prone to breakdown, and high repair costs... Sigh.

knock on wood as well, but in 75k miles, the s4 has only left me stranded once...
...when the clutch pressure plate blew up. Otherwise just scheduled maintenance.
If I make it to 100k with only 1 break down, I'd rate that an "A".
