Is my lesson for the day correct?
Failing EGT sensor apparently went out totally after a month. (Been seeing shots of black crap on the garage floor and garage door.) Started getting O2 codes after that. Bank one then bank 2. Replaced the EGT sensor, still had O2 codes.
Tech told me to run it hard to blow some of that black crap that "might" have gotten coked up on them first before I replaced the O2s. Did that and the O2 codes went away. So far so good. Sound reasonable to you guys?
