Default My S4 is like Crack. I know it going to get me in the wallet, but I just keep going back for more...

repairs! I really like this car, but there's always some little thing going wrong with it. On the CURRENT list of repairs is an oil leak, a front transaxel leak, misfires on cylinder 5, a flaky EGT and an occasional "limp" mode.

It's not that these parts costs so much, it's just the time it takes to fix all this stuff (and I have all the tools).

I keep asking myself why not go get a new car? But the S4 just seems to do it all very well for my needs as a daily driver. AND it's cheaper to fix than getting a new car with less performance (I guess that's why I'm "addicted").

Anyway, just had to rant a little here, I've had a rough day...

My list list of repairs coming up, Control Arms/TRE's after that Timing Belt & Turbos =( $$$$

I've already done control arms/TRE's and TB is done too. That was from the list last year.

Default Unfortunately went with the Meyle before I knew they were crap. I remember one of the sponsors post

a better kit, but I don't remember who it was.

Default I know what you mean. I get my downpipes on and find my motor mounts bleed the purple fluid of death

Add the installation of RS4 motor mounts onto the bill. Also had to replace both upper O2 sensors. Now trying to track down a throttle cut issue. Spent a bit of money recently, but I would never get rid of the car. It's too much fun.
