My S4 Loves Me Again!..New Timing Belt, H2O Pump, MAF, N75..Pulls Strong..MAF Readings 275 g/s+
Just analyzed one of my VAG LOGS from Saturday (2/12).
Other changes include disconnect of Greddy EBC (replaced with MBC) and N249 by-pass (for the second time - better DV response).
Prelimnary VAG analysis has max boost (w/current mbc setting) @ 14.8 psi @ 3400 rpm, MAF = 150 g/s, Timing = 15.8 degrees, engine load =144%, wastegate duty cycle = 0%
Will increase boost via MBC on Sunday. Might replace Stratmosphere DVs with the 710Ns later today (Sun), to see if it makes a difference. I have a pair of 710Ns collecting dust.

Here Are My VAG Readings From Yesterday..Why?..U Expecting Less???
Group B: '115 (VAG Grp)
Engine Engine Spec'd Actual
speed load Boost Boost
1880 82 1080 1050
1960 72.9 1030 1230
2480 109 1340 1340
3000 127.1 1480 1880
3320 128.6 1520 1940
3720 132.3 1580 1960(13.9 psi)
3400 144.4 1590 2020(14.8 psi)
3000 125.6 1470 1960(13.9 psi)
3160 109 1330 1890
2240 15.8 1000 1230
I have a MBC (manual boost controller) in the charge pressure line before the N75. It's set at
approximately 1/2 (between full open and closed). I will adjust the setting to a more closed position to increase boost. Looking to get 15-16 psi at max boost. Also, going to swap my Stratmosphere Hyperboost DVs with 710Ns that are laying around the garage - to see if there is any difference. Will also replace my SAMCO TBB with an AMS TBB (that's also laying around the garage). Again, just to see if there is any noticeable difference in performance - for ****s & Giggles.

How do you figure 2020 mbar = 17.5 psi?
2020 mbar - ambient pressure (~1,000 mbar) = 1020 mbar = 1.02 bar = 14.79 psi.
It depends on what the ambient pressure is. If ambient pressure is ~980 mbar, it is more like 14.9 psi.

Here Is My Calculation.....
2020-1000=1020, (1020/1000)=1.02, 1.02*14.5=14.79
I used 1000 mbar as atmosphere. Let me know where u see the error in my calculation.
Thanks.
