Default My thanks to the S4 forum... (for S4 advice)

Wanted to come back and give my thanks to everyone who answered my questions re: buying the S4 so quickly about a month ago.

As a soon to be former DSM owner, I noted with interest the number of people who had Eclipses. It seemed like a natural track for the best performance/price value.

After careful consideration, I did not buy an S4. I bought (brace)...

a G35.

The S4 is simply exceptional (and I say this without having driven it). The interior is amazing and driving the A4 I had an idea of suspension/perf (knowing the S4 was better). But ultimately to love a turbo car, particularly a twin-turbo car which begs to be modified would wear on my wallet too heavy.

The 5 - 6k to replace the turbos was enough to scare me off... for now. Unfortunately I expect I will be too curious not to join your group eventually and proudly carrying the sig that denotes how far I have gotten in my S4 before I blow it up (very similar to the DSM forums).

Best Regards,

David

PS: I looked at and drove the following cars: Lexus GS300, GS430, ES300, IS300, BMW 325xi, Audi A4 3.0, Saab 9-5 Aero, Jetta (heh), looked (again didn't drive it was sold) 2000 Audi S4, and of course the G35 (which I do in fact really love).
