Default Need fluent German translator AKA "Borbet TDs -- Fitment or No Fitment"

Eddie or Luke from The Tire Rack had mentioned to me in the past that the Borbet TDs were no longer a fitment for the S4. I dug around on the Borbet site and they seem to have some documents from TUV that show a fitment of the S4 and the Type TD.

I've found a PDF file that's in German, and if anyone could take a look at it and see what they can make of it, I'd greatly appreciate it. I can't tell if the 2000-2001 S4s are listed here or not (they have 213 kW and 169 kW engines listed).

Anyone a fluent German speaker? If so, the link is included here.<ul><li><a href="http://www.borbet.de/borbet_neu/pdf270601/gb001077.pdf">TUV document on Borbet TDs</a></li></ul>

Um, I'd trust what Luke said. I'm sure he know's what's what, and wants to sell you some wheels.

Default it's not just the bolt circle and offset..it' whether the spoke come too close to the HP2 caliper

If Luke says NO..I'd go with that

Default It's not a matter of trusting Luke or Eddie....

I guess what I'm trying to figure out is if the style is still available in Europe and Borbet just isn't shipping them here. I'd believe them if they tell me that Borbet isn't making them available here anymore. What I'm trying to figure out is if the fitment's in Europe and just not being sent over the Big Pond.

Default Guess we ought to get Charlie E (That Greek Guy)to try his...

... on an S4 at the next group outing to see what happens. He's got the TDs on an A4:

Just looking at that pic, there's no way that deep of a lip on an 8" rim would ever clear.
