need help removing front axle nuts, while car is off gournd

Default need help removing front axle nuts, while car is off gournd

there are no suspension parts attached other than the upright, i dont even have wheels to try and drop it to the ground, any help is appreciated.

Insert your lug bolts to hold the rotor to the hub. Have someone press the brakes while you wrench.

Default are the other 3 wheels on the ground? if not, good luck...

if the other 3 wheels are on, you MIGHT be able to block them and hope, PRAY, it doesnt fall off the jackstand when you try to break it loose..get a big *** breaker bar with a cheater pipe on it...GL.

Default yeah we normally would it jsut was forgotten in a million disassembly steps

i can toss in the stock suspension for right now but i gotta find some wheels to lower it onto

Default What about two sockets, one on each lug nut to keep the wheel from rotating?

But you might end up with 5 off and one really tight one when you're done, just a thought.

Impact wrench is your only solution then unless you put the brakes back on.
