Default Need help with this...Tricking the airbag light

So i was looking over this tech article and im wondering what happens to the brown ground wire? Default Bumps don't work on this forum's format. It only goes to the top for..

...you and others who have it tracked and only when something new is posted. Doesn't move to the top for folks that don't have it tracked or if nothing new is posted.

Be patient!

I helped a friend do this a few months ago and we did just as Al's post, the one you linked, shows, and it worked fine. Just leave the brown wire alone. hope this helps.

Im kinda confused cuz i measured the ohms with volt meter and only got a reading off the brown wire

Default You don't need to check the impedance accross the harness.

You just need to provide a 5 ohm load across the blue/white &amp; green/white wires to make the car think there is an airbag attached to each side. The 5 ohm load simulates the airbag.

Have you done as Al described yet? Just follow his simple directions and move on and enjoy your new seats. He doesn't mention checking any impedance anywhere...

jhm suggested that, I just have no plug so i guess i will just cut the brown wire and tape it..
