on AW for instructions on how to do the wiring for my V1 that I just bought. There seems to be several different ways that you can do the installation. I've read various mentions of how one can connect the red power cord to various fuse locations (i.e. #16, 27, etc.) so that the radar powers on once ignition is on such as in example "A" below:

I've also noticed on MarkS4's site that he suggest connecting the power cord to the ACC Power location (bolt under #53 fuse module) in example "B" below:

Question to those of you who have done this, which is the preferred method? If I go with option "A" what fuse location should I use? TIA for your advice.

Default i used the 75x post which is what you have in the 2nd picture.

i thought it looked cleaner and simplier (loop connector onto the post) than wiring into the fuses, though some folks wire to the back of the fuse panel.

Default I have details at home...but there is an open fuse, I'm thinking #27- ->

that is for the rear wiper on the avant. It is a switched fuse. I use that for installs so the V1 can be left on at the unit, and it will power on and off when you turn the car on and off...

I will try this if option B doesn't work out. Thank you.
