Horsepower is a function of Torque and RPM, search google for "torque vs. horsepower"

Default Torque is how hard your crankshaft is pulling. HP is Torque plus RPM.

Formula not that simple, but that's the difference. Torque is pull only at a given engine rpm, horsepower is the work being done by that pull at that rpm.

Same torque at higher RPM equals higher horsepower.

Default hp = torque * rpm, not torque + rpm ;)

im sure you already knew that, though ..

Default Yes. This is what I am after. About two years ago, someone posted a link to a lengthy, well-

written article discussing HP, Torque, and how it relates to cars and accelaration.
