Need opinions on H&R/Koni set-up (repost from last night)
I did a search, but didn't find much of use. I currently have H&R springs on stock shocks, and as you may have assumed, the shocks are pretty much dead now. I was thinking of going with the Koni shocks because I heard that they were pretty low when paired with the H&R's. anyone know if this is true? also, how is the ride. If anyone has experience with this set-up, your input is appreciated, and if you don't have experience with it...still appreciated. thanks

Your ride height will not be that affected by shock replacement, mabey only +.5" Your best bet would be to sell your springs and look into getting a deal on some H&R or KW coilovers. Comfortable ride & full ride height adjustability. I've had them both on my 00' B5 and they're sweet

I have the Konis. Depends how you set the shocks. If max firm, it's a harsh ride...
...if medium setting it's OK, if...soft, it rides more like a Cadillac.
Just talked to Eric@SPP, he has the Konis for: $577. E-Mail: Eric@supremepowerparts.com
