need performance info on the Volvo S60 T5
been looking but cant find specs...want an independent testing not from Volvo's website....it has some impressive numbers but I think it would not quite keep up with a stock S4 since it doesnt have AWD and its one turbo, so slower spool up time, also its a 5 cylinder engine.
My friend wants one and thinks it would be close. Perhaps close, but no contest?? what do you think.
Anyone race one?

My buddy has one
We got our cars at around the same time. He touted the T5 as bad and I told him, no way. I tried to impress on him that he made a mistake in spending the same money for a car that has poorer performance. He was in denial...till he drove my 2000 stock S4.
After a quick freeway run to 100 and back down. He conceded that we were far from even matched. They start off fairly even, but the S4 pulls hard on him as we went up the gears. We didn't drag race, but did play bumper tag for a few miles.
The T5 is fast, but not S4 fast. It has no handling or breaks to speak of. It felt firm, but not tight. Go test drive one.
