Default Need some input.... Dilemma

Need some opinions as I have a little dilemma. My 2000 S4 lease is up next month. And I'm thinking of purchasing it. The car is mint and only has 22000 miles on it. It really has been babied. I have changed the oil every 3000 miles and used nothing but Mobil One. It has never been launched or beat on, in the least. The buy back price for the card $22,000.00. I figure I could sell it for at least that much perhaps a little more. I really love the car and there is nothing out there at this time that jumps out to me and says buy me. However, I'm a little leery about owning a twin turbo car that is no longer under warranty (2000 only have a 3 year lease) The payments will be 5 year, 480/mo at 6.99 % from Audi credit.

Any suggestions or opinions would be greatly appreciated. If you had this choice what you do or what car would you buy ect.

Thanks,

Vin

Default

See if they can 'manipulate' Audi Assured for another $950.

Default Keep it, I never lease, can't digest throwing money away and having nothing to show for it, BTW ..m.

Just find an extended warrenty that covers turbo cars and youre fine. Im in the same boat, not a lease, financed half and am getting close to the 3 year. Just gonna layout the cash for the audi extended warrenty through my dealer. Just my .02, plus, red is rare and more sexy than boring silver, lego blue or school bus yellow, hehehehe.

Default buy it if you like it...why is the rate that high...I know it is a used car...

but with rates so low can't you do a bit better....also, if you own a home you might be better off just paying cash for the car with a home equity line of credit...just make sure you pay that off ASAP because you don't want to finance a car over 15yrs!!!

Default Agree with Audi Union Jack.

If you can't work Audi Assured into the deal, look at extended warranties (that will run you ~$2500 and cover you until 100K).

The point is if you turn in your car right now, you'll lose quite a bit of equity that you have in the car (car is probably worth $28K+). As long as you like the car, buy it. Don't let the warranty concern complicate matters...you can work around that.

Default rate seems hight, here's some re-lease information

e.g., buy back the car and lease it again..., with the expensive NJ zipcode, 15K a year, for three years, your lease will be $288 a month, with ZERO down, and $685 finance fees, let me know if you need more information, and yes, if you decide to go the re-lease way, GO FOR the EXTENDED warrantee...fyi, ran a 700 pts credit score, with limited credit, your payments only will go up like $10 a month....

Default Keep it!

22k is a steal of a price. I would definately look elsewhere for financing you should be able to get a much better rate.

BTW. Where in Raleigh are you? You should come out to one of our Audi Meets sometime. First Tuesday of each month. List info in my sig.

Any plans on going to VIR for the december quattro school?
