The new A3 2.0T is startin to grow on me. that's all.

hell yeah. once it gets quattro it'll be even sweeter
tuners are seeing great gains from just chipping too. my guess is that the extra cooling effect of FSI is keeping knock in check so they are seeing better gains then with normal cars...

iirc, the majority of audi's worldwide are non-quattro.
it's a big marketing thing here in the US.

why don't they realize that "sensible" people will by this "utility" car, and those same sensible people might not want an SUV engine in their little car
They're doing a great job of offering a small functional car w/AWD, at the bottom end of their price line, but then they go and screw it up by forcing the larger engine in it, and also jaking up the price in the process. Wake up Audi!
The car starts at ~$25k now with the 2.0T. Traditionally Quattro has been a $1750 option. (IIRC). Put those two together and you have a great result!!! Do it Audi!
