Is the new A4 designed by engineers or what? SOOOO BORING!! They could take advice from BMW

I thought the same also BUT...
my opinions have changed over time. After seeing it on the highway next to me tonight I have to say it does look much more muscular and an evolution change from the previous style.
The one that drove by had 17s and the sports suspension. It had that "hunkered down" look and it looked great. Never seen one running next to me before as all of them were sitting on the parking lot.

I have to disagree...I drove Tom/APR's 02 today....
the car is very stiff and more refined than my '00. Although lacking in the HP department, which will change soon enough, the car is definitely a leap forward. Nearly ZERO wheel gap on the stock 17/sport package setup; the 17s have 235-width tires; it sits lower than my lowered '00; handling is superb, and clutch engagement is MUCH lower than mine. On top of that there are a ton of little amenities that make it an incredible value...now has interior trunk release, grocery hangers in the trunk, dual-zone climate control, in-dash 6-disc, MUCH nicer seats, cabin insulation is (IMHO) even better than the current S4, among many other things. If I weren't holding out for the next S4, I'd trade up to an '02 and install my stage 3 kit in it.

The new A4 looks MUCH better in person, at least in silver. There are two of them here and they....
look sweet. I'm not sure if I like it better than the old body style, but it's definatly growing on me. And Audi definatly has some great concepts on the way. But yes, they could take a lesson from BMW. The M3 is on my top 5 best looking cars list.
