New noise (good ol paranoia), I have a low droning/humming...
sound coming from the rear of the car (definitely not a wheel bearing, been there). I can only hear it when I'm stopped, probably because of road noise. It kinda sounds like a bearing is starting to go. Could it be my fuel pump? Any ideas/suggestions?
TIA

What does a wheel bearing sound like? Have a whoowhoowhoo sound front right
there when driving, does not really change tone, goes away as I come to a stop. I put the car in the air and moved the wheel around and stuff no noise. Thought it was my tires MX (but they only have a couple of thousand miles at the most now)

wheel bearing noise is like you describe above...
for me it was a very deep sound and it changed with weight shifts in the car, so if the front left was in question, when you turn right the sound would increase (weight loaded on the right) and when you turn left the noise is reduced. This can be tested at higher speeds, when your sound is probably louder, just by going back and forth in the travel lane. Also the noise will get louder as the bearing starts to wear out more. Not positive but if I remember correctly, if you jack up the tire and you have play when pushing/pulling on the sides of the tire it is probably the bearing. Hope that helps.

It sounds like an old bi-plane is flying on your roof. Starts rather softly.....
but worsens slowly until you start looking out of your sunroof for an old airplane.
The sound changes with load changes (ie: might completely disappear when you swerve one way or the other).

that's what teh bearings sound like, but I bet it's a rear...
...i thought my fronts were going (front right to be exact) and had both fronts replaced, came to find out it was actually the rears making the noise.
