Default new pedal questions

was thinking about getting the sparco racing pedals, but wonder about winter driving. since i'm in chicago, how well do those little rubber pads grip? and is it possible to swap back on the stock rubber covers in the winter?

Default Not practical to change back since you will be drilling and screwing on new covers...

The nubbys grip pretty well but not like full rubber. I think they are good enough to be safe though.

Default awesome grip!

mine are on about 2 weeks. awesome! can't imagine winter/water changing a thing.

certainly, they are better than rubber for grip. the little nubs/teats/*****/nipples (whatever ya wanna call 'em) are pretty tall. more than a 1/4 for sure.

Default They are great.

I installed the clutch pedal without the rubber pads. The clutch pedal is raised up about .25". The break pedal and gas pedal also adjusted for heel and toe.

http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/22550/p9030011.jpg</a

Default

Ha ha... the pads are soft. Slippage lines were caused by screw driver and rocks under the shoe.
