NEW PRODUCT! Ft Brake Rotor Upgrade, 993tt Rotors (Repost)
<center><img src="http://www.ecstuning.com/audi%20mania/00s4stg%201+%201.JPG"></center><p>Eliminate those troublesome stock rotors by installing 993tt crossdrilled (cast) rotors that fit under stock calipers. Our kit comes with two rotors (left & right) & 7075 aircraft aluminum custom hats. Our stage I+ kit is a bolt-on kit that requires minor pad modifications. Kit is now available & in stock for $690.00. See link below for pics & info of pad mods that are needed. Rotors will have to be trued before installing
....I assume ECS does this for you. The mounting flange on the stock 993tt rotors may have significant runout. I have to true about 95% of the rotors I assemble...from .004-.006" to .001" runout.
There are 3 ways to fix this...(1) true the rotor surface with the new hat on it (2) machine the rotor hat flange (3) machine the inside of the aluminum hat as SHW does with the stock 993tt rotors...unfortunately, the later limits the use of these hats on future rotors.
