or should I just get what I can from a tire dealer for a tire swap/upgrade. I would obviously prefer the Pilot SX but there aren't any unsold S4s on the lot with them.

Enjoy the new car, I got mine 2 weeks ago, was gentle throughthe first 1000 miles and have really enjoyed opening the car up now that It has 1300+miles, I'm sure you'll enjoy, but the RE040's got ta go!

Your Avant didn't come with Pilot Sports? I didn't think they came with RE040s or P6000s anymore.

Mine was delivered 3 weeks ago. I talked to the sales guy about this beforehand and he told me he would swap the tires for anything he had on the lot. Unfortunately he did not have Pilot Sports so I took Pirellis.

I guess Audi is confident Bridgestone has fixed all the the defects. I OTOH am not.

I don't pick up the car for a few weeks because my A4 Avant lease isn't up until early May. Maybe an unsold S4 will come in with Pilots between now and then.

I'm pretty anxious but I live near Boston and the extra time will allow the road crews to fill up a few of the pot holes. I think I'll be the only one on the board with this color combination on an Avant - Casablanca White and silver.

Some still have Blowtenzas?? Mine came with Pilot Sports (week and a half ago).
