New to x-chip - Was spiking to 22psi. Adjusted N75, now seems to be contained to 18 or 19.

Any problems with that? 2000, A-box.

Default Does boost taper down after the spike or does it oscillate up and down at all?

If it tapers down as the rpms rise, sounds like you got it fixed. If it oscillates or surges you might have throttle cut occuring.

My X-chip would surge up and down so I plumbed an MBC in parallel to keep the spike <18psi

Default Before or after adjustment? Before adjustment it was surging, 22 to 18, 22 to 18 or so, then

tapering as rpms rose higher. Now it hits and holds ~18psi before tapering.

Default oh, and I did first think throttle cut, but wouldn't throttle cut be felt severely?

When it was surging 22 -> 18, I don't think I would have felt it if I hadn't seen it happening on the boost gauge. It would seem like throttle cut at that power level would be easy to feel, like when you hit the rev limiter.

You can't always feel it. The best way to know is to log 003 and look at throttle position.

In the works for this weekend. Marked the old N75 position, so I'll log both.

So it might still be cutting throttle, even after the adjustment?

most definitely. only way to tell is by logging throttle angle vs pedal position

Or by logging 003 and using common sense.
